Benjamin Stuart Graham
Benjamin Stuart Graham, 80, of Farwell went to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at his home with his family by his side.
Funeral Services for Ben (Stuart) will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Minister Frank Weller officiating. Interment will follow in the Gilmore Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 6th from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel and also on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gilmore Church of Christ. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Ben was born on August 21, 1931 in Rosebush, the son of William and Lola (Perry) Graham. He married Lois Cook on April 30, 1955 at the Gilmore Church of Christ. Ben served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Holly Carburetor in Clare for seventeen years and then was self employed as a finish carpenter for the remainder of his working years. Ben was an active member of the Gilmore Church of Christ for his entire life. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, hunting, fishing, his Allis Chalmers tractors, camping, traveling, having a good time and loved spending time with his family.
Ben is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Lois Graham; children, Julie (John) Munoz of Farwell and Jeff Graham of Farwell; grandchildren, Jenny (Donovan) Cantu of Clare; Benjamin Stuart Graham of Saginaw; Nicole (Rick) Barr of Grand Blanc; Megan Graham of Breckenridge and Rebecca Graham of Shepherd; great grandchildren, Serena Barr; Peyton and Bryce Cantu; brother, Frank (Carol) Graham of Rosebush; sisters, Virginia (Chuck) Fox of Mt. Pleasant and Ilah (Gene) Thompson of St. Louis, Missouri.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dean Graham.
