Spartan Stores announces plans for a better shopping experience in Clare
Spartan Stores is announcing its plan to enhance the shopping experience in Clare, with a remodeling project at its Glen’s Market location at 10350 South Clare Avenue.
Spartan Stores, headquartered in western Michigan, owns and operates the Glen’s Markets in Clare along with 29 other Glen’s Markets throughout northern Michigan.
“We are very excited to announce this plan to reinvest in our Clare supermarket location, and offer our customers an enhanced shopping experience,” said Mark Lamberies, Divisional Vice President, Retail Operations, Spartan Stores. “We believe the reinvestment in this location further demonstrates our commitment to the Clare community and providing our customers with an excellent shopping experience,” added Lamberies.
Preliminary plans call for remodeling construction to begin early December. Following the remodeling, the supermarket will celebrate a re-grand opening in early spring 2012.
Consumers can expect:
· Convenient well-organized store that will carry the staples and products most people buy.
· Selection of grocery, fresh foods, pet foods, health and beauty and general merchandise items.
· Continue to offer Michigan’s favorite, Spartan brand, is still available to customers at cost savings! On average, Spartan products cost 20% less than comparable national brands.
· ValuTime is also found on our shelves which is the lowest cost brand in the market.
