Meth lab bust in Dodge City
On 5-8-12 the Clare County Central Dispatch received a call of a fight that had just started at a residence in Dodge City, Hamilton Township of Clare County.
Deputies responded to the area and met with the victim who advised he had been to a party at a residence and was jumped by a few other people who beat him up and stole his bike.
Deputies then went to the residence and attempted to make contact with the other individuals involved in the fight. During the course of the investigation it was discovered that there may be a mobile meth lab at this location.
A search warrant was obtained for the residence, Sheriff Deputies and Detectives on scene contacted the Bay Area Narcotics Team for assistance in the search.
During the search of the residence. a mobile meth lab was found at the residence. The meth lab was cleaned up by Detectives from the Clare County Sheriff Department and Bay Area Narcotics Team.
A 22 year old Harrison man was arrested for Manufacturing Methamphetamine and for having Meth components. He was lodged in the Clare County Jail and is awaiting formal charges by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
The assault complaint is still under investigation.
