Suspected bank robber arrested in Dodge City
A man suspected of robbing a bank in Fraser was apprehended in Dodge City last Friday.
Allen J. Foland, 46, a member of the Highwaymen Motorcycle Gang was arrested without incident by officers from the Clare County Sheriff Department, Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and a Michigan State Police Swat team, who were executing a search warrant at the North Dodge Lake Road residence. The search warrant was for “a man wanted by the FBI for a bank robbery at a PNC Bank in Fraser, Michigan.
Foland, also known as GHOST, was believed to be armed and dangerous. The Swat team entered the home and located the suspect. He was turned over to the FBI and transported to the Federal Holding Facility in Bay City.
Sheriff John Wilson said members of the community helped with Foland’s location and information that assisted them with the arrest. “We really appreciate their help,” he said.
