By Ben Murphy The Farwell varsity track team competed at an indoor meet at Saginaw Valley State University on Monday, getting a record breaking performance by Brandon Frank. Frank broke the school record in the 3200, running a time of 10:12.80 and took second place in the event. The previous record holder was Jacob Timlin in 1991. “I am very proud of Brandon,” Farwell head coach TJ Staley said. “He is a dedicated athlete and we are happy to have him here at Farwell. Clare’s annual Easter event, “The Great EGGstravaganza” was held Saturday, March 23 at the Clare Municipal Airport. Kids ages 12 and under had a chance to collect eggs and turn them in for candy, participate in children’s activities and enjoy a visit with the Easter Bunny. Hundreds of youngsters and adults were on hand for the festivities. The event was sponsored by Clare Parks and Recreation Department and the Clare Pilots Association.

By Pat Maurer Review Correspondent Three suspects, all of Gladwin, have been arrested and arraigned for the March 18 assault and robbery at “Guns and Stuff” a small business at 895 Chappel Dam Road in Gladwin County’s Sage Township. Gladwin County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested one man, Michael Robert Bowman, 21, in Gladwin County. The other two, originally sought for questioning, were Rosalinda Martinez, 30, and Charles Howard Rowan, 25, both arrested in the Unionville/ Sebewaing area on March 20.
