My opinion that twp has been treated poorly. The road study that was completed in 2012 was a good investment from the twp. however, the phrase properly maintain was key in the presentation. I believe grant twp. should reconsider any general fund money for road improvements. The clare co. rd commission cannot maintain. People buy less fuel/maybe? Less vehicle reg. ? maybe. Poor allocation of funds? maybe, Poor gov…. yes.. Grant should back away from any spending. I think they were scammed on the sheriff patrol, then denied refund for a trumped agreement. The current grant twp. board has to much support to allow any more county “throw us under the bus” /insult our tax payers verbage.Don’t spend the money on roads, Let it go…..
