On June 8, the employees of the Holley-Colt Corporation celebrated their 40th Annual picnic. There were 36 attending the pot-luck dinner. After visiting and talking over old times about the company the employees posed from their picture. John and Jann Cleary of Clare, Michigan announce the engagement of their daughter, Kalysta Cleary of Clare, Michigan to Michael Leary of Harrison, son of Mike and Carol Leary of Harrison. The bride-to-be graduated from Clare High School in 2006. She then attended Michigan State University and graduated in 2010. She is now pursuing her elementary teaching certification at Central Michigan University. The groom-to-be graduated from Harrison High School in 2006 and Central Michigan University in 2011. By Genine Hopkins Clare County Equalization Director Kim Halis introduced her new employee to the Clare County BOC at their last regular meeting on Weds., June 19, 2013. Tina Ritchey – who will attend training in January of 2014 for her certification as an Assessing Officer – was hired in April. Ritchey’s father is Hamilton Twsp. Trustee Dave Wright. Ritchey had worked and lived in the downstate area, in Redford, for the past 20 years, although she always considered Clare County her home. A teacher at a Charter School, Ritchey and her husband moved back to Clare County last June. [...]
Steven Pung, President of Isabella Bank, welcomes Kerri Hansen to the Business Development Team. Hansen’s main responsibilities include educating business customers on Isabella Bank’s array of electronic merchant services and offering solutions to fit their needs. Kerri is working toward her Associates in Technology degree at Mid-Michigan Community College. She has been with Isabella Bank for 11 years, starting in the accounting department and working in the electronic services department for the last 9 years
