Harrison man fires shots, rams garage

Mark Reinke, 28, was arrested just after midnight June 5 when he went to his cousin’s home in the 300 block of East Spruce Street in Harrison and got into the argument.
Deputies from the Clare County Sheriff’s Department were called to the home after he fired a gun while at the residence. Other family members were at home, but didn’t witness the incident.
Under Sheriff Dwayne Miedzianowski said the incident started out with Reinke stopping at the home to discuss a disagreement with someone else. “It appears that alcohol contributed to Reinke’s agitation and firing the gun.” Miedzianowski said the gun was fired into the ground and there was no threat to the 25 year-old cousin.
According to the release from the Sheriff’s Office, Reinke then left in his truck and went to the home of another family member where he ran into their car and the garage with his vehicle.
Reinke was arrested at the relative‘s home in the 100 block of East Maple Street in Harrison.
Reinke was arraigned in 80th District Court Wednesday afternoon by Magistrate Willing on charges of Operating While Intoxicated; Carrying a Concealed Pistol While Under the Influence; Possession of a Firearm While Under The Influence; and Reckless Use of a Firearm.
His bond was set at $7,500/10 percent. He remains lodged at the Clare County Jail.
