New Name, more space for former Jack of All Trades
By Pat Maurer
Clare is growing again. Jack of all Trades, next door to Wood’s Household in Clare, has expanded and now has a brand new business name.
Opened for just over a year now, the new business name is now “Last Life Games & Main Street Cable and Satellite” and the business recently expanded into the building next door, formerly Jumbo Video. The two stores are connected but each will offer something different for their customers. “Business has been great,” said Business Partner Matt Burton, “and we were just running out of room.”
The business is owned by Clare natives Matt Burton, James Bratcher, Alexis and Dan Hoogerhyde and new partner Jeromy Young.
The original store will still have a great selection of video games, movies and Anime and is now offering new releases of games and movies as well as pre-owned games and movie rentals. James will manage that business.
Right next door the other partners will manage an expanded fireworks selection, the growing satellite business and within the next few months will add rent-to-own home furnishings as well.
They also still buy both silver and gold coins and jewelry with free appraisals by local expert Matt. “We give top dollar for silver and gold coins, electronics, collectables and much, much more,” he said earlier.
All of the business owners are Clare graduates. James Bratcher is married to Amber and the couple has three children. Alexis and Dan Hoogerhyde have two children. Jeromy Young is married to Charla and they also have two children.
The phone number for Last Life Games & Main Street Cable and Satellite is 989-424-5330. The hours have also changed a bit. They are still open seven days a week – Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 9 p.m.
Stop in soon and see their new, expanded business and all they have to offer.
