A falling out among thieves?

What may have been an altercation between larceny suspects resulted in shots fired July 3rd, one man arrested and charges pending on another.
Clare County Deputies were called to a home on Woodview Drive in Garfield Township at 10:32 p.m. July 3 to investigate the larceny of a four-wheel ATV.
Deputies had arrived and began questioning the caller about the incident when they heard shots fired from “a couple of blocks away,” according to Undersheriff Dwayne Miedzianowski.
Deputies responded to the situation and questioned suspects at the scene. They said it appeared that two men had an altercation over the stolen quad, which was hidden there, and one man shot at the other. No one was injured and one of the men, an 18-year-old Lake man reportedly admitted stealing the quad and was arrested.
Charges are pending against the other man, a 73-year-old, who hasn’t been arrested as yet. The results of the investigation have been sent to Clare County Prosecutor Michelle Ambrozaitis for review.
The Lake teen’s bond was set at $5,000/cash surety and the bond was posted. He is scheduled to be arraigned July 16th.
The stolen ATV was recovered.
