200 campers attend basketball sessions
The lazy days of summer are winding down and the school year quickly approaching. Summertime for kids means no school, lazy days, getting up late, hanging out with friends, swimming and just enjoying being a kid. But summertime also brings other options, options to better your basketball game at a HOOPZONE Basketball camp.
“Once again this summer we have had almost 200 campers from Farwell, Clare, Evart, Harrison, Rosebush, Mt Pleasant, St Louis, Shepherd, McBain, Cadillac, Houghton Lake, Beaverton, Coleman attending our HOOPZONE camps” says Bruce Owens founder of HOOPZONE Basketball. “From younger kids enjoying their first experience at basketball to high school athletes wanting to sharpen their shooting or ball handling skills; it’s always nice to see kids and parents take the time to get better.”
HOOPZONE Basketball was founded to bring solid basketball training to mid Michigan without having to travel miles to get it. Using local facilities and partnering with local businesses it has proven to be a great option for many families throughout mid Michigan.
Dates are now set for our annual FALL BALL series of camps beginning in October (following youth football and youth soccer) for boys and girls in grades kindergarten – 6th grade.
