A 45-year-old Farwell man is behind bars on charges of embezzlement from Fair Salvage Company, in northern Isabella County’s Vernon Township.
Todd James Graham was arrested Tuesday when the embezzlement was discovered. According to a release from Isabella County Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski, Graham was an office employee at the company for between six and eight years.
“The theft was discovered Tuesday and reported Tuesday,” the Sheriff said. “The dollar amount of the embezzlement is still being investigated,” Mioduszewski added, “but it is quite likely the amount will actually be much higher.”
Graham was arraigned Wednesday afternoon on one count of embezzlement over $100,000 and five counts of forgery. His bond was set at $750,000/10 percent cash/surety.
Graham is lodged at the Isabella County Jail.
