Helen Marie Grover
Angels lifted Helen Marie (Liechti-Lloyd) Grover, from her home and families embrace on August 1, 2013 at the age of 99. Helen was born on February 26, 1914, in Wise Township, Isabelle County, Michigan the 2nd child of Amy and Samuel Liechti, and graduated from Clare High School in 1931.
Helen is predeceased by: (parents) Amy & Samuel Liechti, (brother) Sam Liechti, (sister) Leona Goosetree, (brother) Robert Liechti, (sister) Alice Liechti, (sister) Maxine Firchau, (husband) Don Lloyd, (daughter) Onalee Lloyd, (husband) James Grover; (grandson) Montgomery J. Orton, (granddaughter) Jill Lloyd, (grandson) Greg Glass, (daughter-in-law) SueMae Lloyd.
Helen Marie will always be lovingly remembered by her family: daughter Betty Braden, daughter Marjie Orton, son Donald Lloyd, son Art & (Vonnie) Lloyd, daughter Barb Glass, son Dick Lloyd, daughter Diane Higgins, and daughter Vicki Lloyd.
There are five generations in the family with 21 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren, 22 Great Great Grandchildren, 27 spouses and includes 2 sets of twins. Total of 115, and survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
Helen attended Clare Church of the Nazarene for many years. Helen worked at Holley Carbeutor for 25 years and also at Evart Products.
Helen’s favorite hobbies included gardening, cross stitch, embroidery, reading, and visiting family in Florida. Helen touched many lives with her generosity, smile and wonderful sense of humor until the end, not to mention the love for her families legacy.
Service will be held at: Stephenson-Wyman, 165 S. Hall St., Farwell on August 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M.
Celebration of life will be held at: Clare Church of Nazarene, on August 10, 2013 following the service.
