The Village of Farwell was a busy place over the Labor Day weekend with the 107th Labor Day Celebration in full swing with rides, displays and loads of activities including the biggest parade in the area.

In memory of Mike Hamilton a long line of the signature green derby cars lined up in front of derby spectators.
Gina Hamilton, Wesley Hamilton and Mike Junior Hamilton were presented a banner during a tribute ceremony in honor of Mike Hamilton.
Leading the Fire trucks in the parade was the vintage fire brigade wagon. In early days the fire hose would be wrapped around it.
The Farwell Labor Day Fair looked magical as the sun set on the fair grounds.

Kristine of Kristine’s Hair and Tanning takes a pie to the face from a young lady. They were on the grounds raising money for Locks of Love.
A local youth group went all out keeping the theme for this year’s parade in mind. The theme was Looney Tunes.
