Ktaich joins McLaren
Dr. Ktaich graduated in 2001 from the Lebanese University School of Medicine, and then completed her Residency in Internal Medicine in 2005 at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York, Yeshiva University. In 2009 she completed an Infectious Disease Fellowship at New York Hospital Queens, Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
Dr. Ktaich treats patients with all types of infectious disease including—but not limited to—endocarditis, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, diabetic foot and surgical wound infections, liver abscesses, travel medicine, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, STDs, and tick-borne disease (including Lyme Disease). She provides outpatient antibiotic infusion therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatment options when necessary.
The Wound & Hyperbaric Center, located at 4639 E. Pickard Street, opened in mid-January 2013. Through mid-August, the Center has provided wound care and hyperbaric services to more than 100 patients. With the addition of Dr. Ktaich, operations will be expanded to meet increasing demand for service.
“My goal is to help patients find a solution, manage, and understand their disease,” Ktaich said.
She was previously employed at War Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste Marie, and recently moved to Midland with her husband and two children.
