No court date set for Bass

A pre-trial conference in the murder case of Oanh Kieu Bass took place between attorneys and Circuit Court Judge Thomas Evans Dec. 16.
The conference was held off the record with no conclusion drawn and no new court date set, according to the circuit court clerk.
In November the defense signed a waiver of arraignment with the court to have the case proceed to pre-trial.
The Mecosta County woman is charged with the shooting death of Floyd Dennis Jr., 68. He owned Kerns Grocery in Dodge City.
He was found murdered the afternoon of Jan. 18, 2013 at a cabin in Redding Township that belonged to a friend of Dennis’s.
