A Clare man died in a one vehicle accident Sunday morning.
Ronald Lee Bradley Jr., 53, of Clare died around 9:15 a.m. when he lost control of his 2002 Ford Ranger on Southbound US-127 just north of East Coleman Road in Isabella County’s Vernon Township.
Isabella County Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski said Bradley was traveling south when he lost control and overturned, striking a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Mioduszewski said.
He was alone in the pickup at the time of the crash. Alcohol was not believed to have been a factor in the accident and Bradley was wearing a seat belt, the Sheriff said. He said there was some ice on the roadway when the accident happened.
The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Isabella Northeast Fire and Rescue, Michigan State Police, Clare City Police and Mobile Medical Response.
