Lorraine L. Napthen

Lorraine L. Napthen, age 81 of Lake, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 1, 2009.  Lorraine was born the daughter of Peter and Frances (Renkowski) Prus on September 12, 1927 in Detroit.  She was united in marriage to Walter Napthen on March 2, 1946.  Lorraine had lived in Lake since moving from Roseville 30 years ago.  She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and crocheting.

Lorraine is survived by her husband Walter; sons Walter of Indian River and David of Warren; her daughters Linda (James) David of Lake, Mary Heir of Florida, and Judy (Gary) Megge of Warren; 10 grandchildren Vicki (Craig) Cooper, Karen (Greg) Horvath, Heather Heir, Kansas Heir, Annie David, Matthew Napthen, Steven Napthen, Nicole Napthen, Evan Napthen, and Stephanie Napthen; also surviving are 6 great grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents; a son Thomas, and a grandson Walter.

Services for Lorraine will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home.  Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.urial will take place in the Surrey Twp.
