Clare Public Schools

Clare Public Schools are starting their recycling program two months ahead of schedule, thanks to the efforts of the Clare Education Booster and Matt Schafer (co-owner of Ace Hardware of Clare). Mr. Schafer contacted local businesses to help offset the cost of supplying the school with thirty-two plastic garbage cans.  These cans are being used to hold recyclable material until it is transferred to the Isabella County Recycling Center. Ms. Stadlberger’s 7th & 8th Grade Art students (pictured) painted each container in a recycling theme. The following businesses supported the project: Ace Hardware of Clare, Nevill Supply, Century 21, Ace Hardware of Clare, WCZY Radio, Chemical Bank , Herrick House, MMI, Tiedeman LLC, and J.D. Metal Works. Those interested in learning more about Clare Public Schools’ recycling program can contact Jason Koch at jkoch@clare.k12.mi.us or at 989-386-9979.
