Eagles wallop Hornets, 74-27, now 4-0

   The Farwell Varsity Girls Basketball Team hosted the Harrison Hornets on December 16 improving their season record to 4-0. The Eagles came out on fire in the first quarter with a 32-4 lead and never looked back.  Foreign exchange student, Jesicka Romero, scored the final basket of the night to take the home victory, 74-27. 

 

   All five starters concluded the night with double digits in scoring.  Mindy Dunkle led the Eagles with 17 points, 6 assists, and 3 steals.  Emily Rohdy added 14 points with 4 assists and 4 steals.  Brittany Shavrnoch had 11 points and 10 rebounds, Lyndsey Ruckle had 11 points, and Olivia Ringwalt scored 10 points and 10 rebounds. Shelby Eagle added 5 points, Alli Theisen netted 4 points, and Jesicka Romero rounded out the scoring with 2 points.  The JV Eagles also defeated Harrison with a final score of 47-18.
