Benjamin Henry

Benjamin Ralph Henry 61 of Farwell passed away Monday, July 12, 2010 at Mid Michigan Medical Center-Clare. Mr. Henry was born January 22, 1949 in Clare, the son of Walter and Lola (Cowles) Henry. Benjamin served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Henry was a lifelong resident of Farwell. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes and taking his grandchildren fishing.

                Surviving are three sons: Chris Papcke of Farwell, Eric Henry also of Farwell and Jason Henry of Clare, four sisters: Jean Weaver of Farwell, Geraldine Arts and husband Ervin of Clare, Betty Williams and husband Bob of Farwell and Nona Harmon also of Farwell, three brothers: Barry Henry Sr. and wife Reva of Harrison, Robert Henry and wife Marty of Beaverton, Michigan and Rod Henry of Farwell, numerous grandchildren, plus many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Nora Osborn and one brother, Larry Henry.

                A Memorial service and benefit for Mr. Henry will be held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Rockwood of Farwell.
