Rabies Clinic

The Clare County Animal Shelter will be holding a rabies clinic on Saturday, February 3 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Rabies vaccines will be $15.00. Dog licenses will be available that day as well. The animal shelter is located at 4040 Hazel Road, Harrison, MI 48625. For questions, please contact the shelter at 989-539-3221.

Free chess classes are being offered at the Pere Marquette District Library. Starting on January 23 from 10:30 to 12:30 and runs every Tuesday thereafter for 12 weeks. TOUGH QUESTIONS SERIES

Starting February 7, every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm, Pastor Joe leads a discussion centered on the more difficult questions of the Christian faith. Open to all adults regardless of where you are in your journey. Join us in a safe, relaxed discussion guaranteed to stimulate your faith. Located at the Rosebush United Methodist Church, 3805 School Road, in Rosebush behind the Elementary School.

Walk in Health Clinic

Central Michigan District Health Department will be offering walk-in Hepatitis A vaccination clinics on: Thursday, February 8th from 12 noon – 4:00 p.m. at Central Michigan District Health Department (2012 E. Preston, Mt. Pleasant).

Women’s Connection Luncheon

Mt Pleasant Area Christian Women’s Connection Luncheon Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 12-1:30 PM. At Camille’s on the River, 506 W Broadway, Mt Pleasant. Women connecting with God, each other and their community. No membership. Special feature and music will be a Mini Concert by the VanderVeens. Annual Soup & Salad Supper

The annual soup/salad supper will be held at the Rosebush United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm sponsored by the Rosebush United Methodist Women. Menu will include homemade soups, salads, rolls, dessert and beverage. Tickets are $10 for adults and children 11 and up; $5 for children; Children under 5 eat free. Take out is available. Purchase tickets at the door.

Saturday Night Euchre

97th District Foster Care Family Meet & Greet

Meet with local foster parents and Department of Health and Human Services to learn about foster parenting at this meet and greet event. Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm at Riverwalk Place 777 W. Cedar Ave. Gladwin, Michigan.

The Lake George Boosters Club Welcomes The Public to our Winter Euchre Night. We play Tuesday’s starting Jan. 2, 2018 through April 24. The doors open at 6pm and cards start at 7pm. We are located at 89 S. Bringold Ave. north of Lake George. You are welcome to bring a snack to share at the break it you wish.

The Farwell United Methodist Church’s monthly Swiss Steak dinner will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. The menu includes: Swiss Steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, hot vegetable, coleslaw, rolls, dessert and beverage. The donation is $9 for adults, $5 for children. Take-outs are available.

Super Buck Sportsmen Night

Liberty Baptist Church, 6007 W. Mannsiding Road, Lake George, MI, (48633) announces their ‘Super Buck Sportsman Night’ on Saturday, February 17, 2018.
Pastor Peter Gelatt and LBC invite everyone to Super Buck XII. The venison potluck dinner starts at 5:00 PM with a wonderful evening of fun & fellowship to follow.
