Peggy Jean Schneider- VanCoughnett

Peggy Jean Schneider- VanCoughnett, (nee Rousseau) age 88, of Clare, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013, at her home.   She was born the daughter of Francis and Mildred (Garrison) Rousseau on Nov. 11, 1924, in Saginaw. She had worked for 25 years for Lufkin Precision Tools.  Peggy married George “Shorty” Schneider in 1957 and he preceded her in death in 1978.  She was married to Sheldon Irish for a few years and he died.  She married Robert VanCoughnett in 1987 and he survives her.  Peggy and «Shorty» moved to Clare from Saginaw in 1967 where she drove Bus [...]

Margaret “Jane” Peltier

Margaret “Jane” Peltier, age 86 of Clare, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Clare Bridge of Midland.  Jane was born the daughter of John C. and Della (Patterson) Warner on July 11, 1926 in Owosso.  She was united in marriage to Robert J.L. Peltier on January 23, 1946, with him predeceasing her on February 21, 2005.  Jane enjoyed singing on The Chesaning Showboat, playing Bridge, taking care of her flowers and treasure hunting.  She could be found cheering on her grandchildren and great grandchildren at their Church, School and Sporting Events.  Jane was a long time supporter of [...]

John “Kelly” Music

John “Kelley” Music – age 86, went to meet his Lord on Friday, April 19, 2013, at North Woods Nursing Center in Farwell. John was born on May 24, 1926 in Van Lear, KY, the son of John and Elizabeth (Witten) Music. John  spent  from1944-1946 serving our country with the United States Army. He served as a Staff  Sgt. During WWII in the Phillipines. He married his sweetheart of 64 years on  July 2, 1949 in Van Lear KY. Together they raised six children. Edna Ann Dana

Edna Ann Dana, 69, of Coleman, died at her home Thursday April 18, 2013.  She was born in Midland March 18, 1944 the daughter of the late Glen & Grace (Tesman) Huss.  Edna Ann Huss married Merlin K. Dana November 26, 1965 in Gladwin. She retired from Coleman Community Schools in 2009 after 25 years of service.  Edna enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, and always looked forward to the annual trip to Grand Marais to spend time with her family and friends. Patricia R. Harrelson

Patricia R. Harrelson, age 80 of Harrison, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at the McLaren Central Michigan Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.  Patricia was born the daughter of Cicero P. and Ova M. (Edwards) Fletcher on May 16, 1932 in Harrisburg, IL.  She went to school in Detroit, at Hutchins and graduated from Central High in 1950.  Patricia worked as a clerk and retired from the Oakland County Courthouse in Pontiac.  She was united in marriage to Earl “Glenn” Harrelson on March 28, 1981, with them residing in Gladwin.  Glenn passed away on November 30, 1992.      Patricia is survived [...]
