Adopt A Pet

August 31, 2017

321D17 is Monica, and she is a very special girl! She was very well cared-for by her previous owner, and is up-to-date on all her shots, spayed, housebroken and VERY well trained. He provided the shelter with her vet records. Monica is about 3 years old and weighs about 75 lbs. She is such a great dog, her previous owner even used her for mobility assistance–she helped with his wheelchair when he had days he needed to use it, and helped fetch things for him. But as seriously as she took her job, she also knows how to play! She is happy and energetic, but not obnoxiously so.
Her mixture of lab and pit make her a near-perfect fit for any big-dog lover! She is already spayed and her adoption fee is $40.

Kitten # 067K17 was just a teensy bit too small for Dr Hamilton to neuter on her last visit, so we were not able to bring him along to our last adoption event at Elm Creek. He is available for adoption for $80, but his new owners will be responsible for getting him neutered. After he is fixed, return a copy of his neuter certificate to the shelter, along with his adoption number and the shelter staff will have the County Treasurer send you a refund of $50.

Cat # 102C17 Purdy is a tortoise shell and white female who, no doubt, earned her name because she obviously KNOWS how gorgeous she is! But she can be forgiven for being a little spoiled, right? Isn’t that why we have pets? She is about 4 years old, according to her previous owners, spayed, and is available for immediate adoption for $30.
