In March, 29 Clare High School students will be heading to Grand Rapids for four days. There, they will be representing the Clare Chapter of Business Professionals of America at the State Leadership Conference. These students have worked incredibly hard since the beginning of October, demonstrating their hard work, dedication, and talent.
The Clare students qualified for State on January 12, 2013 at CMU, where they competed in the Business Professionals of America Region VIII Leadership Conference. Region VIII is often considered one of the most competitive regions in the state with schools such as Midland and Mt. Pleasant. Clare, however, thrived brilliantly among over 500 other students.
Co-advisors Debbie Loesel and Jann Cleary are thrilled to be taking the 29 outstanding students to Grand Rapids March 21-24. Debbie Loesel says, “These kids have worked so hard over the past couple of months, and it’s just fantastic to see them rewarded like this.” Jann Cleary added, “This is just a great experience for these students, and it will surely stay with them long after high school.”
