The Clare YC Level 4 Cheer team competed July 14th at the Indianapolis Convention Center, and placed 2nd in their division. 75 teams representing 14 states attended, all with two goals in mind, a ribbon and trophy to bring back to their home town and lots of fun on the competition floor.
The Clare YC Level 4 Team had been waiting for this moment all year long. The team found out they were going to the nationals in January and have been working very hard all year to perfect their routine and cheer. The team placed 1st at the regional competition held in December at CMU, moving them on to the state competition, held at the Breslin Center, where they also placed 1st.
The Clare YC Coach- Deanna Lowe had 2 assistants for the day, Tiffany Kushmaul and Lori Warren – Owner of Sheer Madness in Clare who completed the girls hair, make-up & ran their dance music. Clare YC also took a National Team Mascot with them to the event- Peyton Flachs who is on the Clare YC level 2 team.
