Adopt a Clare County Family for Christmas

You can bring holiday joy to families in need through the Clare County Christmas Outreach Adopt-A-Family Program! We make it easy for you by collecting the family information and creating a profile of the names, ages and needs of each family member. All you have to do is provide gifts for each family member and the fixings for a Christmas meal or purchase a food certificate from a local grocery store. Call United Way to become a sponsor, (989) 386-6015.

Spiritual Studies Group

The Clare Spiritual Studies Group is launching a series of studies on the Bible. We will utilize the teachings of Dr. Rocco A. Errico.
Dr. Errico speaks, reads and writes the ancient language of Aramaic as spoken by Jesus and his followers. He also has an intimate knowledge of the customs, idioms, psychology, symbolism, and philosophy of the Semitic peoples. For ten years, he studied with the late George M. Lamsa, world renowned Assyrian biblical scholar and translator of the”Holy Bible from Ancient Eastern Manuscripts.”
In our studies, it would be helpful for students to purchase one of Dr. Errico’s books, “Let There Be Light”. This can be facilitated by Reverend Doctor Linda L. Moffit, who will facilitate the local study group. For scheduling and location, please call989-424-6377.
