Pleasant,” says Wright, “and is also a volunteer musical group for local brass players, rehearsing once a week for an hour in the Clare High School Band Room.  It consists of twenty-five members, ranging in age from college to retirees, including several music majors from CMU.”  To join this group, contact, Michael Wright at the Clare Primary School.

The Gateway Community Band, will perform some familiar Christmas tunes, “Blue Christmas,” “White Christmas,” an arrangement by Larry MacTaggart called, “Laughing All the Way,” based on the song, “Jingle Bells,” and a piece recorded by Manneheim Steamroller, “Celebration,” and much more.  So join us in Clare for this dual concert celebration of Christmas.  Admission is free, although donations are graciously accepted.  Snacks and refreshments provided by the bands will follow the concert.  For more information visit or see us on our Facebook page at Gateway Community Band.
