Harrison Christmas Celebration and Parade December 10

Harrison’s annual Christmas Parade will kick off the community celebration December 10 at 6 p.m.

Lineup for the parade is at 5 p.m. at the County Fairgrounds and entry is free. Entry forms are required and are available at the Harrison Chamber office.

Following the parade the Memorial Tree Lighting will be held at 7 p.m. behind MacLean’s Pharmacy.

Santa Claus, his Reindeer Corral, Christmas Caroling and refreshments will also be available there and at 7:30 p.m. MacLean’s and the Chamber will sponsor a special Christmas Story Reading.

The events are sponsored by MacLean’s Pharmacy, the Harrison Chamber, and the Clare County Literacy Council. Refreshments will be provided by Glen’s Market of Harrison.

The annual Harrison Community Christmas Decorating Contest will also be ongoing between December 9 and December 12.
