1/3 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup boiling water
salt and pepper to taste

*Allow 8 cups of stuffing for a 10 pound bird.. Wash and clean bird, both inside and out…..
Start oven and set at 350 degrees
Fill the cleaned bird with dressing.
Rub well all four sides with salt then a sprinkle of pepper.
Place dressed bird on the rack in your roaster.
Cream the 1/3 cup of butter , stir in flour and mix until it is smooth. then  spread this mixture all over the bird, legs, breast and wings.   Dredge the bottom of  roaster with flour.
Roast about 4 to 5 1/2  hours or until meat is tender, basting every 15 minutes until turkey is done.
For basting, combine the 1/2 cup butter with and boiling water.  After this is used up, bast with pan drippings.   Turn the bird occasionally so that it may brown in all sides.  Should the bird brown too quickly cover with brown buttered paper, (like brown paper bag)…..  This a super way do a bird…GGoodddd.
