Appreciates great care at MMMC’s ER

April 11, 2019

Dear Mike,

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the emergency room staff at Mid Michigan Health in Clare for the exemplary care they provided when I was there.

On March 19 of this year I was having severe heart palpitations. As I walked into the E.R. I stopped at triage where I was kindly greeted by Denise Harms who asked why I was there. I told her I was having heart palpitations so bad I could hardly breathe. I told her it was not my head. Without hesitation or asking any questions she immediately took me into a treatment room.

In a matter of seconds and I do mean seconds it was like the sky opened up and 5 angels were there to take care of me.

Without hesitation they started an IV, hooked me up to a monitor, took my blood pressure and blood while hooking me up and doing an EKG.

I have to say I was stunned and very impressed. I have never seen anyone work as fast or efficiently as they did and still be kind and caring.

That kind of caring attitude never changed the whole time I was there. The care was outstanding and that night changed my whole opinion of the hospital.

If I ever have to return there I can take comfort in knowing that I will be well cared for and in good hands. At this time I would like to give a personal “thank you” to the E.R. angels for their care. Denise Harms – the quick acting triage nurse who also helped care for me. Pixie Loughrey and Tabby Williamson 2 really sweet nurses that really know their job.

You girls ROCK! The most wonderful Dr. Fitzer who was right there and sweet Cody who was there taking down everything. I never thought I would say I had a pleasant E.R. experience but that night I did.
Keep up the good work angels – you’re AWESOME!

Sincerely, Clare resident
