Campaign signs

October 11, 2012

Dear Editor,

It really feels like it has already been a long campaign season and boy will I be glad when it is finished. What I am really writing about is how candidates in this campaign season have gone to great heights to get their names out in front of the voters. The signs seem to be getting larger and in greater quantities. I always loved when one candidate would place 3 or 4 of their campaign signs at one corner or intersection of a road, as if we could not read the one sign we need to read it from every angle on the street. What most disturbs me is the candidate that places a sign in your yard or on your property and did not get permission to place it there. I have removed Jerry Burgers signs several times from my yard and off my other properties – I never met the guy nor gave him permission to place a sign there. I have been hearing this same story a lot from members of our community and surrounding communities.

Please help me get this message out to all the candidates out there.

I am with you Ray on this one and as far a Jerry Burger I have also noticed this. I have seen his signs place in homes for sale, seasonal homes as well as forclosed homes in Freeman and Lincoln Townships. This only tells me that he must be despirate. Pray for Nov. 6th to come fast.
