To the Editor:
We are 1 election away from a full fledge corporate takeover of our government. This can be accredited to the Citizens united ruling of the 5 republicans sitting on the Supreme Court.
Corporate money won the recall election for Rep. Scott Walker in Wisconsin. Unions your at fault too, 27% of union members in Wisconsin voted for Scott Walker. Let me give all laborers in this country a tip, “Republicans are not for Labor rights.”
Mitt Romney said,” let the auto industry file bankruptcy”. For all you voters out there that think Mitt is the real deal, let give you another tip, “we would all be driving foreign vehicles by now, and the unemployment rate would be unimaginable. “President Dwight Eisenhower, a republican president is responsible for the highway system in this country, he believed in jobs and the economy. As of now the Republican Congress has held up the transportation bill, but being the liars that the republican party/Fox news/Limbaugh have become they say it’s the President’s fault.
The divide in this country is this party of do nothing. How could this party claim to represent us! That itself is a lie from Hell! I’m a Christian and I’m appalled at the comments I hear from conservative ministers from behind the pulpits pertaining to Barak, but I don’t seem to ever hear any of them calling out Fox news/Limbaugh/Republican party for the deception and lies they put out day in and day out.
I finish with words from Democrat President Harry S. Truman.
Republicans approve of the American farmer, but they are willing to let him go broke. They stand four square for the American home, but not for housing. They are strong for Labor, but they are stronger for restricting labor rights. They favor minimum wage, the smaller the minimum wage the better. They endorse educational opportunity for all, but they wont spend money for teachers or for schools. They think modern medical care and hospitals are fine, for people who can afford them. They consider electrical power a great blessing, but only when private power companies get their rake off. They think American standard of living is a fine thing, so long as it doesn’t spread to all the people. They admire the Government so much of The United States that they would like to buy it! And they are!
