Importance of voting in the upcoming election

August 30, 2012

Dear Editor:

How important do you think is this Presidential Election?

And how happy are you with the Direction our Country is going?

Are you better off than you were four years ago?

And what is more important, how much we like a Candidate, or who can do a better job?

Our children and grandchildren will pay the price for the choice you make this November.

I voted for President Obama 4 years ago, because he made promises that I now understand he did not have the ability to keep because he didn’t have the necessary experience.

Our country needs someone in office who understands how to create jobs. Our country needs someone in office who will take responsibility. In 4 years I haven’t heard our President take responsibility for anything, nothing! He has spent us into a CATASTROPHE

The Debt increased $4.9 trillion during President Bush’s two terms. The Administration has projected the National Debt will soar in Mr. Obama’s fourth year in office to nearly $16.5-trillion in 2012. That’s more than 100 percent of the value of the nation’s economy and $5.9-trillion above what it was his first day on the job. In other words, he has spent twice as much in half the time.

Unemployment has consistently stayed above 8.4% for the last 42 months. And if you counted all the people out of work who no longer collect unemployment, or people who are under employed, it would be more than 15%.

Please do not use the word “like” to decide who to vote for. Use the words, capable, expertise, and record.

Your children and grandchildren are depending on you to make the right choice.
