-Letters of the Editor- Coach supposed to set an example

Dear Editor,

I was told by educators that what was wrong with students and schools today was a lack of involvement by parents. In this latest incident involving Mr. Onistott, I do not see ANYTHING that he did that any concerned parent would not do.

I was always told by my Dad and Mom “sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me.”

I am 78 years old and do not know what “Karma” means but it must be something TERRIBLE to illicit such a response from the coach and his wife. I thought they were supposed to set an example for the students to follow. Enough said.

Sincerely,

A Concerned Clare Citizen
