Old barns

November 22, 2013

Dear Editor:
Editor’s Note- Can anyone help this lady?

11-22-13 Old Barn-Herrick-Rd-BarnI am not sure if this is the way to go about finding information or not. For several years I have been fascinated with old barns.

I have taken a few pictures of a couple I came across in the last few months. The one I like the best is on Herrick Rd. It sits on the north side of the road probably a couple miles from old 27. Could you find me some history on that barn? And the other one, I think was east of Clare by colonville rd, just south of that road I think. It has an interesting rooftop. People ask me about them and I don’t have information but they are conversational pieces of history. I take pictures because someday they won’t be around any more. Thank you, hope you can help. Am attaching a couple pictures.

I love these old barns, They tell a history of America, Folks need to treasure and take care of these for future generations.
