As an employee of Harrison high School for many years, I worked in the counseling office and was involved with the students in the Career and Technical Education Program. I always remember how the students enjoyed and wanted to do well in the CTE classes and how it made them feel good about themselves.
The Regional Enhancement Millage will provide funding for the Career and Technical Education program which gives our local students the hands-on training and experience they need to fill local jobs in welding, construction, health, automotive, and other skilled trades. CTE prepares students to enter the work force right out of high school, and in many cases, earn college credits through their program.
Please vote on November 6th for the Regional Enhancement Millage it will be a plus to our students and our community.
