“A Christmas Carol” to be Performed

Kick off your holiday season with an evening of family fun and Christmas cheer with a performance of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” written and directed by Kelly Autrey-Webber. This play will be hosted by Clare Congregational United Church of Christ, 110 W. Fifth St., downtown Clare (across from the Post Office).

The play is the classic story of the miser, Ebenezer Scrooge who is visited on Christmas Eve by four ghostly spirits – spirits who succeed in helping him change his life for the better.

The performances will be Friday, December 6 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend this exciting event.

There will be no charge for admission, but a free-will offering will be accepted at the door.
Refreshments will be served and a good time will be had by all! And so, as Tiny Tim observed, “God bless us, everyone!”
