Troy and Amy Nunnally are opening a new store today (Friday, May 3) in Clare, “Ant Treasures,” and their motto for the business is “A Little Bit of Everything,” which also just happens to be the name of their Harrison store.
Ant Treasures, the new Clare store, is located at 10680 North Mission Road (Old U.S. 27) about a mile south of the round-about on Clare’s south end next door to the auto auction.
Both businesses have grown from the store formerly known as “Second Time Around,” a shop that was located on the north side of Clare from 2004 to late 2011.
Troy said about a year and a half ago he moved the Clare business to Harrison and named it “A Little Bit of Everything.” He and his son Korie Berckley own the Harrison store and now he is expanding the business and coming back to Clare with the second store. Both stores feature electronics, musical instruments, antiques, collectables, DVDs, games and systems, tools, furniture, appliances and…well, “a little bit of everything.”
He and wife Amy are opening the Clare business. Both businesses buy, sell, trade and will do loans as well, similar to Pawn shops, Troy said.
Clare store hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
The Harrison store, A Little Bit of Everything, can be found next door to Bob’s Party Store in Harrison, at 4016 North Clare Avenue on Harrison’s north side.
Clare’s phone number is the same one from years past: 989-386-9337. Harrison can be reached at 989-539-5626.
Harrison’s store is open seven days a week: Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
The website is anttreasures.com and a special mobile website is m.anttreasures.com. You can email them at email@example.com.
A Grand Opening for the new Clare store is tentatively being planned for May 18 to coincide with the annual Amish Quilt Auction and Craft Show.
The couple, married about a year ago, live in Clare and have a joint family of ten children, all grown; eight are Troy’s and two are Amy’s. They have three grandchildren and a fourth on the way.
