This past month, a record fourteen Clare Business Professionals of America students attended the National Leadership Conference in Indianapolis. Students had to qualify for the conference by finishing in the top seven at State for individual events, top three for judged events, top 2 teams or by completing a number service-related projects throughout the year.
The National Leadership Conference is a once in a lifetime experience in which the students attended beneficial workshops on the topics of professionalism, current careers in technology, and other relevant business topics. While there, students visited famous landmarks, toured the city and various museums. The students will surely always remember these incredible cultural experiences. In addition to the workshops and touring, the students had the opportunity to compete against the top students in the country in their respective competitions. By the end of the conference, Clare students proved to be an unstoppable force. Their results were:

Trisha Wentworth: 8th place, Administrative Support Research Project Individual;
Laura Mater: 10th place, Administrative Support Concepts;
Gabe Kasper: 11th place, Fundamental Accounting;
Lauryn Fairchild: 12th, place Keyboarding Production.
