The Clare County Arts Council, (CCAC) presents Julie B. Wells, June 11, at the Pere Marquette Library in Clare at 6:30 p.m. Julie will share how her journey through the halls of education, the many classes and challenges she encountered while earning her degrees after fifty brought her to why she paints and expresses herself through the venue of paint. Julie is very passionate about the arts. She is a graduate of the University of Northern Arizona where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters of Secondary Education and Visual Arts Education. She publishes art lessons for teachers in “School Arts Magazine” and teaches art classes at Morey Public School Academy at Shepherd, MI. Julie shows her work in Clare at Made with Loving Hands and will be co-teaching with Lesley Smoltz during a summer art camp offered through Made with Loving Hands, Clare, MI. Julie will demonstrat techniques she uses in her painting and will bring along supplies for those who would like to “try out” the ideas.
