Clare played in the Glen Lake baseball tournament on Saturday, going 1-1 on the day with a 5-2 loss to host Glen Lake and a 7-6 win over Rogers City.
Logan Emery suffered the loss in game one, giving up five hits while striking out six batters and walking five.
Emery also had two hits and an RBI and Mason Packard had a hit.
Chris Dysinger got the win in relief, pitching one inning without giving up a hit. Jordan Gross started the game, pitching the first five innings and giving up six runs, five earned on six hits, two strikeouts and three walks.
Sam Adkins had two hits and an RBI, Gabe Denton had a hit and two RBI, Chris Dysinger, Ryan Seiter and Brendan Gyulveszi all had one hit apiece, with Gyulveszi adding two RBI.
On Friday Clare played in Gladwin, winning a pair of Jack Pine Conference games, 4-0 and 6-5.
Colton Punches got the win in game one, a contest that went eight innings, giving up two hits, struck out 11 and walked three.
Denton had a double and two RBI, with Packard and Gross also adding two hits apiece.
Dice got the win in game two, pitching seven innings, giving up five earned runs on six hits, six strikeouts and five walks.
Clare got the win on a walk-off passed ball.
Emery led the offense with two hits and an RBI, Punches had a double, Denton had a double and an RBI with Packard and Conner Clickner both getting a single and an RBI.
Clare (17-5 overall, 8-2 JPC) played at Roscommon on Wednesday, played Farwell on Thursday and plays in the Northwood Invitational on Saturday.
As of Wednesday the Pioneers were tied atop the JPC standings with Meridian.
