Clare’s Holiday Fest is here!

The Annual Holiday Celebration in Clare, December 6-8th, has taken on a whole new twist this year. In an effort to bring some new excitement to Downtown Clare, the Clare Area Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Clare Retailers, and various other Businesses, organizations and individuals sought to create a Holiday Festival to kick-off December with a warm, cheerful, family-oriented Christmas celebration. Everyone has jumped on board and is sponsoring some type of activity or event.

Sporting a “Grinch” Theme, On Friday night, December 6th, The Gateway Lanes is hosting Christmas Carol-oke, Live Music, Christmas Glo Bowling, Meet the Grinch, prizes and more.

Things start to heat up on Saturday, December 7th, as McEwan Street in Downtown Clare comes alive with over 40 Events. The morning begins with Breakfast with Santa at the Ponderosa, a “Whoville” Costume Contest at Tendercare Clare, a variety of kids games, Chili cook-off contest, Hot Chocolate Warming Stations, FREE Carriage Rides, Pet the Reindeer, Pizza eating contest, stuff an SUV for Toys for tots, an old fashioned “Mitten Tree” and so much more! Don’t miss the opportunity to be in Clare at 6:00pm on Saturday night for the Grand Finale’ of the day….As Sound Productions premiers their “Light Show Spectacular” which sports a mix of music, lights, and movies to get you into the Holiday Mood. But wait…. there’s more, as professional hula-hoopers don their lighted hoops and Ray’s Bike Shop lights up their fat bikes! Definitely a one-of-a-kind show, like nothing you have ever seen before.
