Colosky, Baldwin head to state golf meet

Bria Colosky and Sammie Baldwin punched their tickets to the division four golf state finals on Wednesday night. Both Lady Eagles finished high enough at Wednesday’s regional at Manistee National Golf Course to move on.

The Eagles shot 390 as a team to come in fifth place.

Bria Colosky was the top individual qualifier with a score of 81 and was second overall. Baldwin was fourth overall and second among individual qualifiers with an 84.

Kasey Staley and Haley Lewis also competed, with Staley coming in 30th with a 105 and Lewis placed 44th by carding a 120.
The state finals are Oct. 18 and 19 at Bedford Valley in Battle Creek.
