Colosky leads Eagles to state finals

The Farwell varsity girl’s golf team took third in regional competition on Thursday, Oct. 11, advancing them to the Division four state finals.

Grayling won the regional, held at Eagle Glen Golf Course in Farwell with a team score of 405. Glen Lake took second with 407 and the Eagles shot a 412.

Sophomore Bria Colosky took first place overall with a score of 86, Sammie Baldwin took second with a 92 with Chalsey Stiglich and Juliet Dean both shooting 117′s to tie for 37th.

The Lady Eagles continue their season today (Friday) and Saturday at the Division four state finals at Forest Akers West at Michigan State University.
