A Gladwin man has been charged for the gunpoint robbery of an Amish family this summer.
August 28, Clare County Sheriff’s Detectives and Gladwin County Sheriff’s Detectives found out the identity of a suspect wanted for questioning in the armed robbery of an Amish family in Sheridan Township in late May.
After a search warrant discovered evidence of the robbery at a Gladwin County residence, Detectives arrested Doyle Robert Dell, 20, of Gladwin on charges of armed robbery.
Dell was formally charged August 29 in 80th District Court for armed robbery and weapons offenses by Magistrate Karen Willing.
Bond was set at $100,000 cash. Dell remains lodged at the Clare County Jail.
