Farwell wasn’t able to pick up a win at the Meridian baseball tournament on Saturday, dropping a 3-2 game to Pewamo-Westphalia and losing 11-2 to Meridian.
Jacob Sutton gave up two unearned runs in game one and struck out two batters.
Jordan Renner and Dylan Brown both had a hit and an RBI, Austin Hickey, Noah Wilson, Austin Maxey and Trent Johns had one hit apiece.
Hickey suffered the loss in game two, with Wilson and CJ Fielder pitching in relief.
Walter Mosby had a hit and an RBI, Brown, Wilson and Maxey had one hit apiece.
On Thursday, May 8, Farwell hosted Meridian in Jack Pine Conference play, falling 15-0 and 13-3.
Hickey suffered the loss in game one, giving up 11 runs, seven earned on nine hits and three walks.
Brown and Trent Marhofer had one hit apiece for the Eagles’ offense.
Kyle Danielson took the loss in game two, pitching five innings and giving up 10 runs, five earned on six hits, two strikeouts and eight walks.
Brown, Hickey, Marhofer, Wilson, Renner, Mosby and Mandel Militello all had one hit apiece.
Farwell (11-13) was at Beaverton on Thursday, plays in the Whittemore-Prescott tournament on Saturday and plays a make-up game in Clare on Thursday.
