Farwell tracksters host JV meet

The Farwell track team served as hosts of the Farwell Junior Varsity Invitational on Monday, with both the boy’s and girl’s teams coming in second in the four team invite.

First place finishers for the girls were Kaitlyn Barnhart in the 100 hurdles (18.28), Logan Sprague in the 300 hurdles (56.62), Megan Emmendorfer in the 3200 (19:22.06), Bailey Rose in the discus (97’05” and the shot put (34’00.50”.

A 3200 meter relay team of Kazia Cooper, Courtney Dennis, Ayla Sisco and Rachael Boerma also placed first.

Second place finishers included Barnhart in the 300 hurdles, the 1600 relay team of Mariah Lannen, Randa Schultz, Rebecca Smith and Taylor Helmer.

Third place finishers included the 800 relay team of Bailey Rose, Lauren Ringwalt, Hannah-Mae Boyd and Becca Boyd (2:11.30), the 400 relay of Logan Sprague, Barnhart, McKenzie Garver and Kayla Kelly, Ringwalt in the discus (83’04) and Garver in the pole vault (8’00”).

First place finishers for the boy’s were Cameron Disbrow in the 110 hurdles (19.24), Joey Bowen in the 1600 (5:12.53), 800 meter relay team of Tanner Touchtone, James Ball, Jacob Buccilli and Disbrow (1:41.8), Touchtone in the 400 (52.8) and the 800 (2:14.23), Robert Tessman in the discus (103’02”) and shot put (36’04”),

Second place finishers were Kurt Meister in the 3200 (12:04.09, the 1600 relay of Touchtone, Disbrow, Bowen and Ball (3:49.69) and Ball in the pole vault (9’00”)

Third place finishers included Meister in the 1600 (5:38.62), Bowen in the 400 (59.5) and 800 (2:24.51), Disbrow in the 300 hurdles (47.4) and Ball in the long jump (16’07.50”).
