Mary Haley, of Clare, was selected for the 2014 Nursing Excellence Award. Mary is an RN at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw. Mary started her career with St. Mary’s upon graduating from Baker College in 2006.
The purpose of the Nursing Excellence Award is to recognize the dedication, knowledge, leadership, and compassion exhibited by Registered Nurses. The award is based not only on nurses’ achievements and impact at the bedside, but also in the community. Mary was honored by colleagues and family at a special luncheon at SVSU on May 28th.
“Mary consistently dedicates herself to patient satisfaction and is always ready to give an extra hand to fellow staff members,” her Clinical Supervisor explains, “Mary’s passion for the nursing profession is obvious every day in the outstanding patient care she provides.”
Mary resides in Clare with her husband Mark and four daughters, Megan, Cassidy, Maya and Kelsey.
