211 Operations Manager Awarded Lifetime Achievement

211 Northeast Michigan is proud to announce the recipient of the Michigan Alliance of Information and Referral Services (MI-AIRS) Lifetime Achievement Award is our very own Resource Database Curator and Operations Manager Hollie Hawkins!

The Lifetime Achievement Award is given to employees whom have displayed dedication and excellence in the field of Information and Referral Services. Hollie has been on the forefront of making these critical social services available to callers in need since 1999, when she entered the field with Midland County’s First Call for Help. Since then, the services she helped to pioneer in Midland County have grown to 23 counties across Northeast Michigan, serving over one million people.

Michigan AIRS Established in 1977, the Michigan Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (MI-AIRS; formerly the Southeastern Michigan Information and Referral Alliance, is an alliance of agencies, community organizations, and individuals committed to providing quality information and referral services to all of Michigan. MI-AIRS is an affiliate of (international) Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS).

Hollie’s commitment to 211 has translated into better access, more expedited delivery of services, and protection of caller’s rights to confidentiality and anonymity. We are proud of her accomplishments and grateful for her guiding hand and giving heart that has made 211 Northeast Michigan one of the leading community resource call centers in Michigan.
